Once I was back in Maastricht, the production phase of my project began. I intended to re-create the feeling of being a third-culture individual in physical form and find my audience for it. I enlisted the help of the BIPOC community at my university and began the process of world-building Niemandsland.

Niemandsland = No Mans Land

I found Niemandsland in the middle of nowhere Hoogcruts Klooster, Noorbeek. Together with my No-Mans people, we began filling the historically white monastery with our language, and my research, letting the poems fill the cracks in the walls.
