In January of 2024, I applied on an open call for beginning artists offering a free studio space for a year. It was going to be a shared space with other artists with varying disciplines.

In March, I received the news that I had been selected to be part of the collective! I was overjoyed and excited by the possibility that the year offered but then the big question settled in… Now that I have this space, what am I going to do?
